"Oh Mikey!" is the brain chiild of up and coming director Yoshimasa Ishibashi. Born in Kyoto in 1968, Mr. Ishibashi made his directorial debut film Kuruwasetaino in 1997. He received excellent reviews at the Stockholm International Film Festival '98, and won The New Director Award at the 8th Japan Film Professional Award '99 for his efforts. Never one to sit still, he is also a member of Kyupi Kyupi, a visual & performance unit, and is involved actively in various fields such as art, stage, music and magazines.
